This time also there would be a new segment on IVRS for COVID19. The students are under a lot of fo pressure due to the coronavirus outbreak and would need counselling on that. This segment would answer their queries in COVID19, give them useful tips to tackle the pressure, provide parents and students knowledge of exam centre protocols, how to practice self-care in the pandemic etc.

Through the IVRS facility, the board will answer important questions related to exam dates, preparation suggestions and providing information to parents. The board started the facility in February this year and is now continuing for the fourth time.

An additional additional free service of the CBSE Helpline for students and general public was pressed into service mainly during the lockdown period to create awareness and tackle the pandemic,” the board notification also reads. CBSE Board has also been providing counselling to stranded students at hostels away from their homes maintaining their mental and emotional well being.
