Maharashtra HSC Result 2020 delayed further, 12th Class Results unlikely by 10th June, say media reports

MSBSHSE has released the Maharashtra HSC result generally in May, but this year they have been delayed - Education Minister hints at delay in release of results.

Maharashtra HSC Exams 2020 was conducted in the month of March 2020. MSBSHSE releases the HSC, 12th results generally in May but this year they have been delayed. The High Court’s had asked the Board to announce Maharashtra HSC, SSC Results 2020 by June 10. It was earlier given a nod by the Government but as recently reported by a local daily the Education Minister hinted a delay in the declaration of Maharashtra HSC Result 2020.

As reported by Mumbai Live, in a recent conversation with the Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad, she confirmed that the 12th or HSC Board Exam Results would be delayed and won't be releasing on June 10, 2020, now. She also hinted at a months delay in the process. This is because the paper evaluation had started after a long wait by the Board due to a pandemic outbreak. However, the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, MSBSHSE is yet to announce any dates officially on the release of results.

He also told local dailies that answer sheets were to be sent from post offices and centers to teachers for evaluation. The process is being monitored by the government from May 18, 2020. The board along with the state government is working on announcing the results by July 2020.

The Maharashtra Board has recently cancelled the Geography Exam and would be awarding average marks to all students in that paper. Also, the Maharashtra Board had started the correction process in the state which was informed to be smoothly progressing. The results are yet to be seen in the examinations held in March and students are expecting HSC and SSC result soon on the official website. The government has also canceled final year university examinations in the state keeping in mind the increasing number of coronavirus cases.
